We view surfing as it's own culture, a "society" formed for common purpose by people that share the same passion. As a surfer, generation after generation, whether you're in New York or in Japan, there is a sense of belonging - a sense of something much larger than any one of us. Whether it's your first wave or your 10th year out, there is a common emotion, an intuitive sense of consciousness, as if this is what life is all about.

Okeanos East Coast Surf focuses on the characteristics that distinguish one east coast surf community from the other, while simultaneously revealing the similarities. Although each surf community has its own personality, they are all bound by a common interest. As surfers, we are able to feel an emotion that many never experience - a deep appreciation for our oceans and beaches, the birds, sunrise, sunset, the power, all life above the water and below. Okeanos ECS will help promote individualism while creating a surf community focused on protecting our oceans and beaches.
